Inspection Day!!

There is nothing that I enjoy more than on my only day off this week to ramble around my almost new house to find all of this imperfections...NOT!

Believe it or not, today was really tough! It's hard to be attached to something so much and have to look at it's every imperfection. On a good note, I was able to spend several hours in our new house! I didn't want to leave! It really started to feel like home. Ahh...the felt like velvet running off the tongue...HOME!


We are so blessed to have my parents! They were able to come up and help us out this weekend. And thank god, because I wouldn't have been as detailed as I should have been. My house has the blue painter's tape measles.

If you don't know, you can use painter's tape to point out imperfections. That way the builder can come back and easily find what you are mentioning on your punch list and hopefully fix it. Most of ours is painting issues, but some were simple repairs.

My sweet dad doing the best home inspection...EVER! It only cost me a BIG hug. You gotta love Dads!!

With all that being said, we typed up the inspection and punch list to be given to the builder tomorrow. Hopefully they will get started on all the work to be finished by closing, which might I add is only 16 days away!
